Therapeutix

Finding the hype and advertising behind Therapeutix pretty impressive, I took a closer look to find out if this stuff really works. Beyond all of the expensive advertising and marketing schemes, what it really comes down to is effectiveness.

Therapeutix uses the popular 3-step system including a face cleanser, a moisturizing lotion, and a night lotion. Here are the pros and cons of their package:

Pros

  • The cleanser and night lotion use a few proven-effective ingredients such as salicylic acid and glycolic acid.
  • Does not contain benzoyl peroxide.

Cons

  • “Free Trial” is an auto-ship program, which is usually a PAIN to cancel.
  • Has a very low concentration of the active ingredients (.5%). Glycolic acid is usually prescribed with at least 10% concentration in order to be effective.

Conclusion

Therapeutix does not offer much to be impressed by. Though it provides legitimate active ingredients, their concentration is so low as to be ineffective. Also, even if you don’t want to get involved in their auto-ship program, you will still have to pay $60 which is way too much for this product. I do not recommend Therapeutix.
