Nature Bright

Does Nature Bright actually work?  Standing as one of the most expensive acne treatment products on the market, it is worth taking a closer look.  Here is a basic summary.

The Nature Bright “Skin Rejuvenation Light” lists for $250, though it can be found for less in some places.  Replacement bulbs come in packs of 4 for $60.
The product claims to heal skin problems and get rid of acne by shining “red and blue light” on the skin for 15 minute intervals.

Analysis:

Having done some research, I was surprised at how quickly this product begins to seem ineffective.  What I found is that there is little to no medical back-up for the claimed positive effects of Nature Bright on acne conditions.  It is widely known exposure to light can be good for the skin, but this particular system has little on its side in the way of results.

Ease-of-Use:

It is extremely awkward and tiring to sit so close to the light for 15 minutes straight, which is what the treatment requires.

Price:

For much less than $250 there are plenty of good alternatives for acne treatment.  As there is little to say this will even work, I do not recommend the Nature Bright system for acne.
