Acnezine

acnezineFor me, one of the hardest things about having acne is trying to find a treatment that actually works. In this age of the internet you can find anyone telling you anything about any product. If you want to read that ProActiv is a miracle product you can find someone saying that. If you want to find that ProActiv is a scam, you can find that just as easily.

So I, like you,  have struggled in trying to find an acne treatment that works. I’m here to give you the facts about Acnezine so that you can decide for yourself whether or not to give it a try.

How Does Acnezine Work?

Acnezine is a facial cream designed to clear up your acne as quickly as possible. The official Acnezine website says that it works by reducing swelling and promoting the healing of scars.

Acnezine is a two part system that has a moisturizing cream and dietary supplemental capsules. They are both simple enough to use; you just need to apply the cream to your face one to three times per day and take one pill per day on an empty stomach.

As I tried to learn exactly how Acnezine works, I noticed that the Acnezine website mostly uses very general, unspecific terms to describe how their product works. They use phrases such as “take care of the skin” and “promotes healing”. I wasn’t able to find a very good description as to how Acnezine actually does those things.

What Ingredients Are Used to Make Acnezine?

Since I couldn’t find a good description of how Acnezine works I was anxious to look at the ingredients to find out how it works. A copy of the label for both the moisturizing cream and the dietary supplement can be found on the official Acnezine website. I’ll just focus on the key ingredients used to make Acnezine.

  • 5% Benzoyl Peroxide – this is a pretty good ingredient that cleans out pores and kills the bacteria inside them. It causes some peoples’ skin to become irritated so be careful as you use it
  • Green Tea Leaf Extract – no significant research has shown that green tea leaf extract is an effective treatment for acne, but it is currently being researched extensively
  • Organic Aloe Vera Leaf Juice – this is used mostly to keep the skin moisturized

I thought that the ingredients used in the moisturizing cream were pretty good but I wasn’t especially impressed with the ingredients used in the dietary supplements. Also, keep in mind that Acnezine is not FDA approved and neither is anything that is written on their website.

Does Acnezine Offer a Money Back Guarantee?

Acnezine doesn’t offer a satisfaction guarantee even though they try to make it seem like they do. They say that they have a 90 day money back guarantee but it is only good for products that are unused and unopened. So basically they have a 90 day return policy. I just want to make it clear that once you have tried Acnezine you can’t return the product to get your money back; I’m making that clear since the Acnezine website doesn’t.

So in the end Acnezine seems like your ordinary acne treatment. A one month supply costs $40.00 which is in the mid-high price range. It doesn’t come with a money back guarantee although the makers try to make it sound like it does. It’s an okay product, but you could probably find something better for the same price.
