ClearPores
Does ClearPores actually clear your pores and reduce acne? For $85, it better get the job done.
The ClearPores system uses a three-step formula.
Step 1 – The Face Wash: Uses Salicylic acid, which is widely known both for effectiveness at cleansing, but also for being pretty tough on the skin, causing excess dryness and redness at times. A gentler and just as effective alternative would be White Willow Bark, which is the natural source of the acid.
Step 2 – Herbal Supplement: This is essentially a multi-vitamin. While there is no doubt this will be good for you, there is not much correlation between its ingredients and acne treatment.
Step 3 – Face Cream: Also uses Salicylic acid in the same concentration as the face wash.
Conclusion
When it comes down to it, there is nothing really new here. ClearPores has some ingredients which have been proven effective, but it is stretching it to say that their ingredient combination is worth this much money. For value, ClearPores scores very low even if it may work in some cases.
Simply, for how it performs and the price, ClearPores is NOT worth it.
